Next week, John Bell and I will be presenting Facebook Bootcamp for PR: How to Use Social Media Networks in Communications to Build Brand and Buzz for Less. This one hour best-practices webinar for PR and marketing professionals is part of Bulldog Reporter’s PR University series. We’ll be offering attendees a how-to on developing a Facebook strategy, engaging customers, and defining their ROI.
Over the next week, we’ll be featuring several blog interviews with selected Facebook experts who will offer their own acumen into the most effective applications, the place for brands on Facebook, and the importance of a long-term investment in a Facebook strategy.
The series will be posted here on Fresh Influence and following the event we will post a recap along with the full presentation. Our first presentation for PR University, Twitter Bootcamp for PR, was a huge success and we expect the same for this new installment.
Here’s a teaser of what’s to come:
In case you missed it, last week was Facebook Week @ Mashable and I definitely recommend browsing if you’re interesting in learning more about Facebook. Get excited for next week!

Cool!! I’m interested in learning some new stuff!
However is this Bootcamp going to imply with the new Facebook layout or the old?
Are you going to talk the difference between the old & new with pros & cons?
I would be interested in your opinion.
Plus I’m just plain old interested period..
I will be checking back here on Fresh Influence.

Hi Nick,
We’ll be covering the new lay out exclusively as well as the most up to date options like Facebook Connect (open ID) and the social credits that Facebook is testing in beta.
This is meant to be a how-to that brands can use to jump start their strategy so we didn’t want to take time to discuss the old layout. Out with the old, in with the new!
Thanks for your interest,
Nicole
