Hi Kristin,
Enjoyed the deck-thanks very much. Another usage I would recommend for businesses (although you touch on this in “Product Promotion and Sales” is the idea of Business Development and Networking. I’ve had great success in following and then DMing folks I’d like to meet to discuss potential business with than I ever did with email or calling. Of course, that’s also because I’ve read their blog, etc (done my due diligence) so that when I contact them it’s relevant, brief and not stalker-ish.
Another great recent Twitter case study in terms of a client I thought you might be interested in is Allstate. They’re at: http://twitter.com/GHCommunity and have been tweeting some very value-added posts versus any form of spamming. They’re also contacting people to let them know about videos they’ve produced relevant to their tweets. Pretty cool.
